I think each of these 3 items are included in the UN's 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). To be honest, this is the least clear committee for the moment. This is a starting point but don't waste precious hours preparing yet.. wait to hear from your NCYMUN partners.





3 implementing economic policies to promote sustainable tourism
Basically the UN recognizes:
The resolution on ecotourism, inter alia, recognized that the development of ecotourism, within the framework of sustainable tourism, can have a positive impact on income generation, job creation, education, and thus on the fight against poverty and hunger, and can contribute directly to achieving the internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

Having 3 topics seems quite ambitious for a 2 day programme.

Don't over-prepare one topic, just have  basic knowledge of all three.


-Morocco : Sofia - Morocco is in favour of sustainable tourism and is committed to sustainable development.
