A healthy twist?

I just received the following message: Dear MUN Directors, As you know, this year's NCYMUN conference will be eco-friendly. In order to reduce waste and environmental impact,  we are asking you to bring your own water bottle or glass, which you will be able to refill during the 2 days of conference. Do not also hesitate to bring your own snack for the breaks (avoid disposable wrapping as much as possible )  Kind regards Pauline Head of Logistics -- So can you bring a bottle/mug for water... and snacks for break time? This is new information for me.. we can talk about it tomorrow!

When and how do I use my resolution paper?

Mayumi asked me "when and how do I use my resolution paper?" and I replied: -- You will share your resolutions during the ‘lobby’ session… informal conversation, which allows you to approach any country and ask them what they think of your resolutions. Then, once you have seen which of your resolutions are ‘popular’ you’ll know which ones to present to the committee. The chair should ask for volunteers to present (or will ask you to hand in your resolutions so that he can type them onto the computer. If another country is agrees with your resolution during lobbying, then you can ask if you can add their name to the list of 'co-submitters'. If your resolution is typed onto the overhead projector, you will probably be asked to give a short speech defending your ideas. This will be the style your speech. e.g.: The delegate of X country believes that journalists should be jailed if they report on a war zone without authorization because (you explain for 1...
